Welcome to RoamWear. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, services, and communications (collectively, the “Services”). References to “we”, “us”, or “our” mean RoamWear.
Our website is hosted on Shopify, which enables us to present and operate the Services. Any purchase or interaction is directly between you and RoamWear.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility & Access
RoamWear is created for women who love to travel and who believe in conscious fashion, shared journeys, and building stories rather than accumulating wardrobes.
Our Services are intended for women who value community, thoughtful consumption, and the idea that wardrobes should support travel — not stand in its way. Sharing, reuse, and care are at the heart of how RoamWear functions, and our community members are the guardians of these values.
By engaging with the Services, you acknowledge that RoamWear is designed for travel-led use and mindful access, not everyday fast-fashion consumption.
You are responsible for ensuring that any information you share with us is accurate, current, and complete, and for how you engage with the Services in alignment with these principles.
2. Products & Representations
RoamWear is a purpose-driven, community-led platform. We do not operate as a traditional clothing or retail catalogue.
Our Services are designed to enable access over ownership. The range displayed on our website is intentionally limited and curated, based on availability within the RoamWear community and relevance to specific destinations, travel needs, or use cases. This reflects our commitment to mindful consumption and discouraging unnecessary accumulation.
Catalogues may change frequently and may vary by destination, season, or community availability. Items shown represent what is available to rent at a given time and are not guaranteed to remain available.
Styling, sizing, or wardrobe curation may be supported by RoamWear’s community stylists. This is offered as guidance based on shared preferences and availability, and does not constitute a guarantee of outcomes, fit, or personal satisfaction.
Visual representations are indicative and may vary due to individual devices, lighting, or styling context. Product availability, descriptions, and services may be updated, limited, or withdrawn at any time without prior notice.
3. Orders
When you reach out to RoamWear, it is not a traditional retail order. We begin by understanding your travel plans, destination, and wardrobe needs, and then share curated options based on what is currently available within the RoamWear community.
Selections are aligned to travel-specific use, not everyday or fast-fashion consumption. Availability may vary, and not all requests can be accommodated.
Once a curated selection is finalised and payment is confirmed, the booking is considered acknowledged. Changes or cancellations may not always be possible after this stage. Returns or exchanges, where applicable, are governed by our Refund Policy.
All services are intended strictly for personal use and are not meant for resale, redistribution, or commercial purposes.
4. Pricing & Payments
RoamWear pricing is not fixed like traditional retail. Pricing is determined based on the type of collection, destination relevance, duration, and the level of curation involved.
Some wardrobes are offered as part of a predefined curated catalogue, while others may require additional styling, sourcing, or customisation. Pricing adjustments will be communicated clearly before confirmation.
Payments are coordinated through RoamWear’s official business communication channels, including our verified WhatsApp Business platform. Payment confirmation is required before a curated selection is acknowledged. We do not store sensitive payment credentials.
Refunds & Security Deposit
Certain bookings require a refundable security deposit to protect shared wardrobes and ensure continued community access.
- The deposit is refundable once all items are returned in the agreed condition and timeframe.
- If items are not returned, the deposit will not be refunded.
This is not a penalty, but a safeguard — when a wardrobe is not returned, it prevents another woman in the community from traveling with it.
Refunds (including deposit refunds) are processed offline via RoamWear’s official WhatsApp Business platform. Timelines and eligibility vary and will be communicated during coordination.
5. Delivery
Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays caused by logistics partners or external factors are not our responsibility. Risk transfers once the wardrobe is handed over for delivery.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Services — including text, visuals, branding, and design — is owned by or licensed to RoamWear and protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
7. Third-Party Tools & Links
The Services may include tools or links from third parties. We do not control or endorse these and are not responsible for their content or practices.
8. Relationship with Shopify
Shopify provides the hosting platform. All sales and interactions are solely between you and RoamWear. Shopify is not responsible for any dispute arising from your use of the Services.
9. Privacy
Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you accept these practices.
10. Feedback
Any feedback you share may be used by RoamWear to improve or promote the Services without obligation to compensate you.
11. Prohibited Use
You may not use the Services for unlawful, misleading, harmful, or infringing activities. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access at our discretion. Provisions that should survive termination will continue to apply.
13. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose.
14. Limitation of Liability
RoamWear will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RoamWear from claims arising from your breach of these Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where RoamWear operates.
17. Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of updates.
